Natural and man-made shapes dominated the dresses and coats of Martine Sitbon's Rue du Mail Fall 2008 collection, and for the most part, she succeeded. From arches to beetles, the line incorporated the inspiration of strong, structural shapes without taking that inspiration too literally. The darkness and toughness of most of her looks (there was an abundance of waxed leather jackets) mixed nicely with a soft, feminine aesthetic.
