As "Diamonds in the Rough," a jewelry company that features uncut diamonds, has demonstrated, raw stones are all the rage right now, as the return to earthy and chunky jewelry dominated the runways this fall. For years, the unpolished quality of this look resonated with the arid Western look (complete with gaudy turquoise and cheap silver), but now, the look has translated into Upper East Side-meets-Village chic. While I'll always love the look of delicate gemstones, that look has become overshadowed by the bold idiosyncrasies of Mother Nature.
