Diane von Furstenberg Jersey Dress, $345 at Bergdorf GoodmanTo be honest, I have never quite been thrilled by anything by Diane von Furstenberg--but this dress gives me pause and has me reconsidering my previous state of apathy. I like it for three reasons: 1) It's not a wrap dress (I prefer separate belts to dresses with attached belts); 2) It doesn't have a crazy, '70s pattern (I admit that most of my clothes are solids); 3) It incorporates an eye-catching color duality near the neck that transforms a basic shift into something more unique.
