Here Kitty Kitty

My husband and I went to Kittichai, a pretty amazing upscale Thai restaurant in Soho. I highly recommend it!

The passageway between the bar and the restaurant

The serene center pond with hanging orchids and floating candles

Their speciality cocktail list did not disappoint...The Muddled Grape Cocktail (left) and Lychee Martini (right) were quite yummy...

Appetizer #1: Squid Salad with Beets, Lychees, and Peanuts

Appetizer #2: Tuna Tartar with Limestone Tartlets, Peanuts, Ginger, and Lime Zest (place the raw tuna into the tartlet and then add the sauce)

Entree #1: Spanish Mackerel with Seaweed Salad (the second entree was the pork chops)

Dessert #1: Jasmine Flan with Coconut Jasmine Rice Tuille

Dessert #2: Flourless Valrhona Chocolate Cake with Fresh Cream

We passed by this graphic black-and-white wall on the same block.

Macrame Tunic: Marni
Corset Belt: YSL
Jeans: MiH
Pumps: Salvatore Ferragamo
Bag: Fendi

The pictures of the food are looking sooooo delicious.... It's very hard not to lick my screen right now (didn't have breakfast or lunch today, have been busy...) :-D
Your outfit looks very fantastic! The Marni top and the jeans - mixed with brown accessoiries! The black part of the Fendi bag is matching the black belt - a MAGNIFICENT outfit!
Sending you lots of hugs&kisseS

What a great bag. How funny, I was in Soho just the other day and passed the same wall. What a coincidence.

p.s. love the belt with that top. It looks like a difficult one to piece together with things, but you do it so well.

Happy sunny tuesday morning, Thumbelina!!
Already the name of the Desert
"Jasmine Flan with Coconut Jasmine Rice Tuille"
sounds so delicious!!!
And your outfit made the perfect match even to the sign of the restaurant ;)
Thumbelina ... "The Fashionista" from top to toe ;)
Thumbelina, is the fabric of the macrame top very
delicate so you have to take special care for it when wearing?

Enjoy your day in NYC!!!

Liebe Grüße
Beautiful Blessings..
Martina

Ahh, the Marni macrame tunic is back!!! It's always been one of my favorites among your amazing wardrobe. The way it fits you is impeccable! And I love how you styled it this way, with all the beige accents and the dark rinse cuffed jeans. :) You are amazing, as usual!

A lovely tunic. Does it come with underpinnings or does one have to improvise?

Charmaine Li said...

that is such an awesome marni tunic!! love the circular designs!!

Lynn--Yes, they have prix-fixe deals! $20 for lunch, $35 for dinner.

Miss C.--Yes, it comes with a nude half-slip to wear underneath the top. Thank goodness for that!

Little Treasury--I have to be careful putting it on, but otherwise it's fine.

Everyone--Thank you for the wonderful comments!

What a fabulous story and photo shoot! It's uncanny the way the wall ties in with your bag & shoes & the food... we're coming into NYC @ some point in the near future & I'd love to check out that restaurant. Any place that combines tuna tartare with flourless chocolate cake is my kind of place! And it's gorgeous! And the beauty is, even tho my husband doesn't think he likes Thai food, I know he'd love the Spanish mackerel.

I just met a great girl - a stylist - who's come from London to NYC for three months. Would you like to talk with her? She's on my post @ the moment. Joanna. ('jet set': http://streetstylelondon.blogspot.com/ )

Can't send emails - hope it's okay to send such a long comment! Would love to meet you if you've got time - we're here til the 21st. jCx
