Hi there!!
Thanks so much for your comment!
Yes, I agree... J Mendel is too evening-heavy.... We have to make a bow around... ;) Thanks for adding me to your blog roll! I''ve added you today, too!
Mmmmmhm, I'm lustig for the Zanotti's.... Master Giuseppe is doing some great work. He's my favorite since many years but as I'm mentioned on Cindy's fab blog (Beige de Mode) as well: I'm soooo addicted to his jeweled flats... So yummy! :)
Hugs to you! Sofie

hello, again i admire your taste and ability to edit. you manage to choose shoes that are chic and elegant but not the same old thing, quite fashion forward - very difficult! especially when many designer shoes are so unattractive.

white shirt update - i spoke with a bespoke tailor and, times have indeed changed; many factors: paucity of quality cotton, thread count - many have figured out that profits double when the necessity to purchase a camisole is created - cotton fields in the US being converted to rice, etc. etc. He suggested buying men's white shirts (often higher standards) and having them tailored to a woman's cut - then you will get better cotton and real opacity.

interesting idea, but, for now, i'll keep looking for my holy grail of quality, convenience, and price. heard good things about theory...

I know - same here! It's made me in the mood for pale washed out colours, but also for high heels and black opaque tights. It's such a striking look on the street here.
I shot a woman (not literally) on the street here a month or so ago - she was wearing high heels with rubber soles, quite masculine looking, like the Dior ankle boots - she was with twin brothers who are the dsquared2 boys.. if you email me @ jill@haybooks.com I'll send you the photos (I could post it, too - we could do a transcontinental rainy day post! : )

Rachel--Thanks for the update about the shirts! I'll keep looking too, but it's unfortunate that this is the new standard in shirts...

I am loving all the boot selections! My favorites are the Dior ankle boots... sporty and trendy all at once! They look like they might even be comfortable! :)
