When I started blogging a couple of years ago, I had no idea that it would lead me to a wonderful community of intelligent and kind fashionistas! I've certainly had my moments of wanting to obliterate this blog (the "delete this blog" option has often tempted me on many an uninspired day), but then I think about all of the people I've met through it. On that note, I'd like to thank you for reading and commenting on my blog--each comment means a lot to me--and for your intriguing, fashion-forward, and heartfelt posts.
I'd like to give the "One Lovely Blog Award" to the following warm and stylish ladies who always take the time to leave a thoughtful comment and whose fashionable blogs make life a little bit sweeter with each post:

I was also quite taken about the blog community and amazed how the bloggers (in this case, fashion bloggers in particular) stick together and help each other - nowadays, every time i go to a event, i will always run into at least one blogger - it's pretty neat ... btw: glad you pick Style Odyssey, she is also one of my fave, xoxo
Hi Thumbelina! Tis a bright and very warm day in Minneapolis. Just got back from lunch and grocery shopping. Hope your weekend is going well!
Yeah, I do get one of those delete-the-blog moods some days...haha! We get lazy or uninspired...totally normal, I think.
Thank you so much for the meet up in NYC! I'm so happy to have met you and Lynn...you two are lovely and stylish. And I read your blogs eagerly every day!
And thank you for the Kreativ Blogger award...means a lot coming from an idol! Yay!
Take care!
Oh, thank you for the mention! I loved meeting you. You BETTER not delete your blog! But I have to say, the blank-face effect terrified me when I first saw it :-O
I think I have gotten used to the headless look!
Thank you, Thumbelina! I'd better write an "intelligent" post quickly; I'm reflecting on poor table manners during Fashion's Night Out chez moi at the moment . . . As I've written here before, I love reading *your* blog for its intelligent look at style.
I am going to hack your blogger account and remove that delete button! ;-) Please do not ever delete your blog, nor even think of it!
I'm really very honored to receive the "Lovely Blog Award" from you! Thank you so much! I was at the "blogging" crossroads when you first commented on my blog. I was debating whether to just continue with my old blog where I already have a good following of friends or this new one where I really don't know anyone! Your comments really encouraged me to venture out into this. I may find many other friends here but Thumbelina, you will always be dear to me!!
Have a great Sunday! =)
kiss you. thank you!
hi thumbelina!
thank you for the award! :) it means so much to me coming from you!
i know what you mean, i've had those moments too. especially when you receive not-so-nice comments and it has been a source of some petty arguments with the husband.
but you know, we've invested so much on it already and we can't delete!!!
i've just posted about last week's meeting as well. i hope you don't mind i borrowed our group picture!
Just stumbled upon ur blog and love ur styles! Agree with u, being a newbie in the blogosphere and lack of confidence, I do encounter my moments of wanting to delete my blog especially during those uninspired days. Anyway, i hope u continue to blog!
P/s: i love ur shoes on u previous post, i look forward to ur updates on the NYFW! =)
oh my goodness, i am honored...thanks so much for the Kreativ Blogger award!! (and to UnoCosa for her sweet comment here).
please don't delete your blog; it's so inspiring and full of wonderful stuff. i'm amazed at all the great bloggers i've "met" through this medium. i stopped subscribing to mainstream fashion mags (uninspiring & borrring: too many cookie-cutter celeb looks featured, too trendy, etc. etc.) and instead look to such sources as blogs for stylish inspiration and the like. that's how powerful blogging is.
xoxo
I'm right there with you on the blogger community thing :)
I've just found your lovely blog and wanted to say - I'm glad I'm not the only one who blurs my face! ;)
Couldn't have put it better myself. I'm much newer to this than most of you and yet, looking at the lovely women who have commented - and the blogs you've listed - I 'know' many of them, and the ones I don't yet, I know they're just a click away. And yet I haven't even met any of you face to fact!
In fact, my dear friend Thumbie: I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOUR FACE LOOKS LIKE!! (That is hysterical that your husband taught you to blot out your face. If you email me @ jill@haybooks.com I can even give you a quick step-by-step to blur it like they do with TomKat's daughter what's her name. You could be like a celebrity baby!! : )
I can't wait to come to NY next time & meet you & Lynn properly - AND the Photodiarist, and some others.. I've thought of giving up at times, too, but it really is you & others like you that keep me posting. And this is way too long: I'm doing this on so many blogs today, it's cause it's raining.
xoxo
p.s. and now you've got ANOTHER to pass on: 'style inspiration'. on my side bar.
I just love the fact that out there are so so many wonderful great souls who encourges us to blog:))
