Leopard Hunting High and Low

Forever 21 Leopard Sweater; Christian Louboutin Leopard Wedges (on top of red dust bag)

Ever since I saw this stunning pair of Christian Louboutin booties on Street Style London, I was smitten. The booties, however, are unwalkable (they pinch in the front like so many Louboutins). Thankfully I found this highly versatile and comfortable wedge version that I can wear all year long.

While I usually don't shop too often at Forever 21 (clearly, I am no longer 21), I did pop my head in recently and was surprised to find this adorable cardigan at a ridiculously low price. Although I initially thought that I was buying leopard at the tail-end (no pun intended) of the craze, Alber Elbaz's pre-fall Lanvin collection confirmed that leopard's not going away anytime soon--which is fabulous since I've just fallen in love with it.

Mmmmmmeow! Nice work! I have the same thing with the Loubies -- too dingdong narrow in the forefoot, which is why I don't own a single pair. But they're gorgeous -- love the ombré effect from the heel forward.

What a loooovely surprise to see you did a new post. Jipppieh ;)
You always pick some amazing fashion pieces. The Louboutin´s look truly adorable with this print and I can confess my Louboutin´s are so uncomfortable, too ;)

Wishing you a joyful and relaxing weekend ahead in NYC... you lucky girl, are you excited for NYFW?;)

OH. Those leopard shoes are so beautiful. I would not buy a leopard stiletto, but the wedge is absolutely perfect. Add me to the jealous list. :-)

Oh, gosh, Thumbie!! Thanks for the mention. I'm just so relieved I didn't cause you injury to your feet (not to mention, costing an arm & a leg).

I love the cardigan - and the wedges. Actually... I'm thinking.. I found a cardigan and matching kind of.. I don't know what to call it, a little thing with spaghetti straps to go under it, in a charity shop here. I feel guilty that I took it from someone who would really want it, cause I still havent worn it. Either it's not me, or it's too cold. If I don't wear it, maybe it's you. Maybe I should shoot it & post it. As in, do a post on it. Vs post as in send.

Anyway I came here to reply to your comment. For some reason that phrase 'can't shred for the life of me' cracked me up. I still haven't taken scissor to Hanes: I've got Shredder's Block.
