What I Wore: Ruffles

Blouse: Antonio Berardi
Jeans: MiH
Pumps: YSL

I admit...I'm in a style rut. I've been quite lazy lately in the wardrobe department (the last two days have been rainy/cold/or a combination of the two), and I apologize for the terribly obscene yellow undertone in these photos. (I can't seem to get a bright shot without flash and without the yellow tone.)

This blouse reminds me of Givenchy's darkly romantic fall line, but when I purchased this blouse, the designer's name sounded vaguely familiar. Apparently, after Gwyneth Paltrow wore his designs, he became much more recognizable as a label. If you're not familiar with his work, check it out. I surveyed his incredibly beautiful clothes on Style.com and was pretty amazed that his name wasn't on my fashion radar until now.

  2. I've vaguely heard of Antonio Berardi, but I'm definitely a fan after this seeing this top on you. It's beautiful with such wonderful detail. And what do you mean, style rut!? I beg to differ!
But I also hate dressing up in cold weather...that's why I love summer!

  4. I only saw a very small selection of Antonio Berardi once in a tiny boutique, but I do remember how wonderful the quality and detailing was. The blouse is gorgeous and suits you so well. A great find!

  6. I love ruffles. This blouse would have gone great with some pants in another color.
